Description

The Marrakech photos by bike tour will take you on an inescapable scenic tour with a zoom on a heritage that crosses the borders of Morocco to touch the universal values. Your tour will start with a small introduction on the sites to visit and instructions on taking pictures provided by your photographer guide

You will enjoy a magnificent stroll through the Souks, where an animation very perceived in its labyrinths covered with wooden slats to protect from the sun that creates a contrast of light incomparable. It is the opportunity to capture vibrant and colorful photos of the various displayed artisan products: slippers, jewelry, spices, cooking utensils, pottery ... Also you will have the opportunity to take in portrait people practicing all kinds of Moroccan crafts: blacksmiths, woolen dyers, couturier, leather worker ...

You’ll stop at the House of Photography. It is a private foundation created by Hamid Mergani and Patrick Manac'h in 2009 which aims to collect ethnological and artistic photos, glass negatives, post cards, journals, maps, prints, documentaries… It has an archive rich of celebrity’s donation such as Daniel Chicault, Ana Muller, Jean Pierre Evrad and other amateur photographers. Don’t forget to go to the top floor to enjoy mint tea or fresh orange juice while admiring the beautiful view of the city.

Your visit will end with the discovery of the Majorelle Garden. Created by the painter Jacques Majorelle in 1920 and bought back in 1966 by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint-Laurent, these gardens constitute a living work of art in motion. Composed of exotic plants and rare species brought from all over the world, the Majorelle gardens have multiple locations to photograph with an idyllic background.

Do not miss taking pictures of the hidden treasures of Marrakech, which you will see during your tour:  a beautiful door finely carved, a fountain adorned with fabulous mosaics, ancient old walls...
