Description

A trip from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga desert in 3 days is the best way to discover the landscape of Morocco and the secrets of the great Sahara by desert tour while admiring the panoramic views along the road to the High Atlas Mountains passing by Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and the valleys of Dades and Deraa until the Middle Atlas chain.

From your accommodation in Marrakech you'll stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah crossing the High Atlas Mountains Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260 m).After lunch, you’ll continue to Ouarzazate to visit the movie studios then spend night in a hotel at Dades gorges. After breakfast at the hotel, you will take the road to Toudra Gorges passing through the plateau separating the High Atlas from the Anti Atlas (1340 m). Have lunch on site, then continue to the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga to ride a camel and watch the amazing sunset in the dunes.Dinner and overnight in a bivouac.

Earlier in the morning, watch the beautiful sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga then continue to Fez crossing the palm of Tafilalt and the city of Rissani. After lunch, you will continue to Azrou through the cedar forest and meet Monkeys Magots. Pass by Ifrane before you arrive to Fez city early in the evening.

Admire Dades and Toudra Gorges before riding camel at Merzouga dunes.

Stroll through Dades Gorge and admire the beautiful views of Toudra Valley.
Refresh yourself at a Riad in Merzouga where you can leave your luggage.
Enjoy a camel ride to watch sunset and sunrise on Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga.
Spend a 2nd night in a Saharian tent (Confortable and private tent with toilet) with electricity solar energy.

Day

Leave Merzouga desert passing by Midelt and Ifrane towards Fez.

Admire the sunrise and ride camel to the Riad to enjoy an early breakfast.
Cross the palm grove of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani to reach the Ziz valley.
Meet the Magots monkeys at the cedar forest between Azrou and Ifrane .
Join Fez the cultural capital of Morocco early in the evening.
