Enjoy a trip to the famous Ourika Valley which is nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, departing from Marrakech. This one-hour trip south of Marrakech is the perfect way to discover, in addition to the landscapes and fauna and flora of the majestic Atlas Mountains, a Berber lifestyle well preserved for decades.

After your first half-hour drive on Haouz plains, you will begin enjoying the magnificent views of the snowy peaks of the Atlas. Then you will get into Ourika valley by lodging its river and discovering its typical villages perched on the mountainside until the famous village of Setti Fatima.

Discover one of the Berber villages whose construction and cultivation of traditional houses and agricultural terraces have required a huge effort to the locals and be on the lookout for the diversity of the Atlas wildlife. Then, go for a pleasant visit of an aromatic plant’s garden, where you will have the opportunity to experience the Berber lifestyle and enjoy a local herbal tea in their company.
